About the studio
Juniper Yard Copy writes for independent physical therapy, chiropractic and wellness practices, and for no one else. The studio keeps its desk at 246-40 Alameda Ave, Little Neck, and keeps its scope narrow on purpose.
01 · Why a single discipline
An independent practice cannot afford a website that describes the modality and forgets the patient.
Juniper Yard Copy was set up around a plain observation. The people who run independent clinics — a physical therapist who owns her lease, a chiropractor whose front desk doubles as billing — are excellent at the work and rarely have an hour to describe it. Their sites fall back on the same sentence: “We offer a wide range of services.”
The studio writes the pages that name the problem a patient actually typed into a search bar, and the emails that fill the days between an enquiry and a first visit. That is the whole catalogue. Restricting the work to one kind of client means the vocabulary is already familiar when the interview begins: load management, cervical rotation, return to run, first-visit length.
Because the studio serves practices only, it writes with the constraints they live under — a state board, a counsel’s review, a patient who is nervous about cost and parking.
Calls are taken Monday to Friday, 8:30am–7pm. Evenings are kept by appointment for clinicians who only have time after the last patient has left.
02 · The method
The sequence does not change with the size of the project. A $450 service page and a $1,380 whole-practice engagement follow the same four stages; only the number of pages differs.
By phone or at the studio. The questions are about your patients, not about your adjectives.
Each page’s purpose, headline direction and single action, returned for your approval before drafting.
Delivered as a shared document, with two revision rounds returned within a day of your notes.
Shared document, plain text and HTML-ready versions, each headline, meta description and button labelled.
03 · Rules of the desk
Rule 01
Claims stay at the level you can demonstrate in the treatment room. Guarantees and borrowed testimonial claims do not appear in a draft.
Rule 02
The studio writes from your words and your documents. Nothing that identifies a patient is requested, received or stored.
Rule 03
One fee, in writing, before the first call ends. Pages added mid-project are quoted separately, in writing, before a word of them is drafted.
Rule 04
Your state board and your attorney review the copy. Drafts are written plainly enough that their review is a single sitting.
04 · Scope
Fees run from $450 for a single service page to $1,380 for a whole-practice site, billed half to begin and half on delivery. A narrow brief is why the figures stay fixed.
